Government debate ‘The role and sufficiency of youth services’ on 24th July in the House of Commons

Wednesday 24th July – Afternoon Session in the House of Commons

The Government tabled a debate in response to the publication of the ‘All-Party Parliamentary Group for Youth Affairs’ (APPG) inquiry into Youth Work. The debate took place in the House of Commons on Wednesday 24th July on ‘The role and sufficiency of youth services’ and is being described as a landmark debate for access to quality youth work and services for young people in England. The ‘general debate’ followed Prime Ministers Questions, other legislative business and changing of the guard at No.10 (so your eyes may have been focussed elsewhere!). The debate follows the publication of the AAPG report available via this link.
