Members Virtual Writing Retreat

  • TAG: The Proffesional Association of Lecturers BG Futures, Longdales Road Lincoln, England, LN1 3DY United Kingdom (map)

The Association is resurrecting its supported research and writing workshops following a short hiatus in activity during Covid-19.

The first activity is being hosted by Frances Howard and Ian Jones on behalf of the Midlands Regional Group with support from Sinead Gormally and Ian McGimpsey as convenors of the Association Research Group. All members are welcome to register and participate.

The aim of this ‘virtual retreat’ is to support members by setting aside time to work on writing, whether that be a special issue paper, a journal article, a book proposal or thought piece. Interested members are encouraged to block out these days (or any part of these days) in the calendar as a commitment to make time for your creative self in writing as part of a community of practice.

The virtual retreat will include meeting together online each morning (10am) and each afternoon (1.30pm) for quick introductions and to discuss our writing plans and progress. There will also be a quick catch up before lunch (12.30pm) and at the end of the day (3pm).

You can register for all or part of the retreat and further details will be sent to registered participants in advance of their participation. There is no charge for this event.

PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE EVENT VIA THIS LINK

Further details will be published on this event page and details of joining instructions will be emailed to all registered participants in advance of the retreat. Any questions about participation can be directed to: hello@tagplaycw.org
